Needle - large size, as #15 circular (needle should be at least 36 inches in length)

need 250 yards

Cast on 100 stitches using #11 needles then change to the #15.

Row 1, knit this row
Row 2, increase in every stitch (200)
Row 3, knit
Row 4, increase in every stitch (400)
Row 5, knit
Row 6, increase in every stitch (800)
Row 7, knit
Row 8, increase in about every 4th stitch (1600)
Row 9, knit
Bind off.

Variations:

• Cast on 106 stitches, yardage- fingertip to fingertip + fingertip to opposite elbow.
• Cast on 93 stitches, yardage- fingertip to fingertip.
• using novelty yarn that only has 39 yards per skein; cast on regular acrylic yarn. Work one row then change to novelty yarn, work two rows, change back to regular yarn, work one row, then from opposite end work the novelty yarn and finish with the regular yarn.
